3rd and last stop!
Welcome to the Practicum Study Tour
The Practicum Study Tour will provide live teachings for those who have completed at least 75% of the Dance as Medicine Teacher Training of 2022.
The focus will be on what is much harder to achieve online such as group dynamics, floor work, circle work, embodiment, functional movement, body reading, space holding, ceremony, and the actual transmission of the medicine.
We will also work with the public, therefore you will get a chance to build mini-sessions, transmit the teachings in a small group setting, and either assist or lead aspects of a group session.
The 3rd and final stop will be on Bowen Island, BC.
The workshop location will have us all stay on-site, making this last stop a nest to birth from.

Jacqueline Werner, one of our group member, is generously opening her home, studio, and sacred land to us.
Located on Bowen Island, these mystical retreat grounds will offer us the perfect container to brew our magic and come alive together.
The space will have us all sharing rooms and meals, family-style.
The workshop space is cocooned in the island forest and offers a fire circle, hot/cold pools, and ample space to merge with nature.

- Thursday: Opening Circle
- Friday: Group Dynamics + Fire Ceremony
- Saturday: Floorwork + Public Workshop
- Sunday: Circle Work
Departure: by 2 pm on Sunday Oct. 1
Public Workshop
Prepared and operated as a group:
- Theme: Feel the Pulse
- Teachers will be given different transmission projects
- Try out your voice, somatic expression, and transmission.
- Open to all; no experience necessary.
Group Coordination
Stacey Lynn is our group coordinator.
She will assist in the following:
- Airport transportation
- Organize ride share
- Handle Ferry schedule
- Support with specific needs

- Practicum Studies: $700
- Stay & Meals: $300
- Max 10 people
Included:
- 3 nights stay
- 8 vegetarian meals
- 20 hrs of study time
- 1 ceremony
Payment Schedule
- A 50% deposit is required to confirm your place
- The remaining payments must be completed by Sept 15, 2023
- Monthly payment plans are available
- Extra fees will be charged if payments go beyond the workshop dates
