This 35hr workshop merges the fields of restorative yoga and manual therapy, while integrating a study of the effects of stress on the nervous system.
Through the combination of myofascial release and restorative yoga postures, participants will learn to identify holding patterns, address movement restrictions and release soft tissue tension, in relation with postural alignment.
The teachings also focus on developing an eye for limiting breathing patterns and actual hands-on techniques to expand and free the breath.
The overall approach aims at presenting new possibilities for the client as well as offering them with the opportunity to consciously release what is holding them back from their true potential, and so on all levels.
All of the hands-on techniques will be suitable for the yoga mat and/or the massage table, and while the client is clothed.

The intention of Restorative Bodywork is to integrate changes from within the nervous system and address overall alignment of the body, mind, breath and soul.
Through experiencing the work for themselves, participants will explore their own breathing and holding patterns, in conjunction with anchored mental blockages or self-limiting belief systems.
